"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person.
Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us."
~Albert Schweitzer

What are you grateful for today?

Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn
a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't
learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick,
at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.
~Buddha

I am grateful to be alive. I am grateful for the simple things. A cold glass of sweet lemonade. A scoop of my favorite ice cream. My best friend's smile. His contagious laugh. His stupid jokes.

I am grateful for it all:)

I am grateful that someone liked my work enough to give me a job!

I am grateful today for new beginnings. When life seems to hit a dead end, only to wake up the next morning feeling hopeful and filled with courage to start again.

P.S. Congrats "When I am Rich" :)

I think we sometimes are not grateful for the little things (waiting for the bigger ones to happen) because we are not focused on the little things, not realizing that it is the little things that make up the core of our being. The big things are not necessary while the little ones, and so we wait with bated breath in eager anticipation and hope for that which is not necessary. How strange are God's humans!

I need to include a PS here. My Blest Atheist blog went down recently. I was able to find a workaround: I replaced it with 100th Lamb.
